San Diego Republican Mayor Jerry Sanders
Gives Republican Chairman Ron Nehring
Early Christmas Present:
Sanders Appoints Gay Activist As
Executive Communications Director

(JHR) No one can say they were not warned.  For months, the James Hartline Report did its very best to inform Christian voters everywhere of the impending moral catastrophe that would ensue once Jerry Sanders was elected mayor.  Every deceptive force in San Diego fought to quelch the information that the James Hartline Report attempted to provide to families throughout America's seventh largest city regarding the radical homosexual agenda of Jerry Sanders.  Now voters are waking up to that nightmare realized.  Truly, no one will be able to say they were not warned.
The Gay and Lesbian Times is now publishing a snickering picture of Jerry Sanders that seems to convey to Conservative Republicans throughout San Diego this simple phrase, "What a bunch of fools!" (http://www.gaylesbiantimes.com/?id=6471).  Pictured with the bloated, laughing Mayor Sanders is Fred Sainz, one of the most radical gay activists in San Diego.  Sanders has just appointed Sainz as his new Executive Director of Communications (www.signonsandiego.com/uniontrib/20051130/news_1m30appoint.html).  In a post election speech that was void of any references to a morally-based thought process, Sanders declared:
"I believe there is strength in having voices from many different backgrounds and perspectives around you to educate and inform your own opinion.  Male or female, Democrat or Republican, gay or straight, white, African-American, Asian or Latino, I intend to attract the very best to city government.  I think we've gotten off to the right start today."
Sanders proceeded to reveal his good start by choosing Sainz as his Exective Director of Communications, one of the most powerful postitions in City Hall, and a position that will pay the radical gay activist $125,000 per year.  Sainz has a very long history of promoting homosexuality among young teenagers, as well as his campaign to legalize gay marriage.  During his tenure as a board member of the Gay and Lesbian Center in Hillcrest, Sainz made this extemist, anti-family statement of support for the annual Gay Pride Parade in a letter to the San Diego Union Tribune:
"I am exactly the type of gay man Yuhas would love:  I wear a suit and tie to an office job five days a week, my (homosexual) partner and I have been together for a number of years and we take vacations with our families.
"But I will never forget that it took a dozen drag queens fighting proudly for their rights in the summer of 1969 to launch the gay revolution and make possible the professional and personal opportunities I enjoy today.
"The gay community is no different from the straight community: We are a patchwork of people from all backgrounds and beliefs.  It would be wrong to rush any aspect of our community back into the closet simply because of some misguided, antiquated notion of what is acceptable and/or marketable.  We don't have rights simply because America might have grown to like some of us.  We want basic human rights like the ability to marry, because it's the right and just thing to do.  It's the American thing to do."
In May of 2004, when Christian Activists James Hartline, Allyson Smith, and Phil Magnan appeared before the San Diego City Council to stand up for the protection of San Diego teenagers and demand that the city not give a proclamation to honor a radical gay event for kids called "SuperQueer," Fred Sainz joined nearly thirty other gay activists to condemn the Chrisitan trio (http://www.gaylesbiantimes.com/?id=2578).
New Communications Director Fred Sainz is not the only radical homosexual early Christmas gift that Mayor Sanders is rewarding Republican Party Chairman Ron Nehring with this year.  It was Nehring that directed the Republican Party apparatus to spend tens of thousands of dollars to help Sanders get elected.  In return for Nehring's assistance in helping bring Sanders' gay activist agenda to city hall, the mayor-elect called on lesbian District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis to introduce Sanders to the media for a post-election victory speech (http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/politics/cities/20051109-0038-7n9mayor.html). Shortly after Sanders made it clear that he would be pursuing his radical homosexual agenda by allowing lesbian Dumanis to introduce him for his victory speech, Nehring invited both Sanders and Dumanis as his guests of honor at his Republican Party Christmas event in eartly December.
In July of this year, Mayor Sanders and District Attorney Dumanis disrespected every family in San Diego by riding in the annual Gay Pride Parade that was racked by a major pedophile scandal.  Sanders and Dumanis felt it was more important to honor the pornographers, pedophiles and abortionists that danced along the parade route, rather than stand up for the protection of San Diego's youth.  Party Chairman Nehring responded to the Sanders' Gay Pride debacle by opening up the party coffers and funneling thousands of dollars into the Sanders' campaign. The Voice of San Diego reported that the amount of money flowing from Nehring and the Republican Party in support of Sanders exceeded $170,000.
Sanders waved a rainbow flag worth of thanks back at Chairman Nehring by attending this month's porn-promoting Gay and Lesbian Time's holiday party with gay activist supporters Todd Gloria, Robert Gleason and Ben Dillingham III (www.gaylesbiantimes.com/?id=6390).  Dillingham, one of the chief financiers of San Diego's radical homosexual agenda, was named by Sanders to be a participant in his adminstration's city hall reorganization team (www.signonsandiego.com/news/politics/20051105-9999-7m5mayor.html).
The San Diego County Registrar of Voters recently revealed its total vote tallies for the recent mayor's race.  Nearly 60,000 Conservative voters in the city of San Diego refused to cast votes for Sanders, although they did go to the polls to support Prop. 73, the pro-life initiative.  There is clearly a growing outrage among Christian Conservatives in San Diego County towards Republican Party officials who have embraced the anti-christian "big tent" ideology of Governor Schwarzenegger and Mayor Jerry Sanders.  Simply put, Christians refuse to support the radical homosexual agendas of Schwarzenegger, Sanders, Nehring and Dumanis, all of whom are willing to sell out family values in exchange for money and power.  Sadly, it is apparent that these individuals have learned nothing from the demise of Duke Cunningham, Tom Delay, or Jack Abramoff (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A53609-2004Jul15.html).
In the battle to protect the Christian Community from the impending attacks on family values that would commence if Sanders was elected, the James Hartline Report was repeatedly attacked by some influential religious leaders in San Diego. Three days before the actual November election was held, attendees at a prayer meeting held at Horizon Christian Fellowship, contacted publisher James Hartline.  Hartline was informed that Horizon Pastor Mike MacIntosh had condemned Hartline for attacking Sanders.  Hartline was also told that MacIntosh had encouraged his congregants at the prayer meeting to support Sanders.  The support list on Sanders' campaign website reveals that a number of big financial donors to MacIntosh's church, including Lincoln Club Board Member Mike Turk and his wife Karen Turk were big givers to the Sanders campaign as well.  The Turks also held a drinking party fundraiser for Sanders in their own home.  In addition to having a liquor bar set up in their home for the Sander's fundraiser, these Horizon Christian Fellowship members also gave large amounts of money directly to the Sanders campaign (www.jerrysandersformayor.com/supporters/index.cfm). One hopes that the free flowing liquor served in the Turk's home that day, did not get spilled on any of their Mike MacIntosh Bible Study tapes.
Alledged pro-life Catholic Rick Otis was also a huge financial supporter of Sanders.  Otis, who repeatedly condemned Hartline for his reporting on Sanders, completely disregarded the new mayor's long history of supporting Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry, as well as his vociferous support of homosexuality.  In an email sent out early this year, Otis justified his support of Sanders by conveying that he had been given personal assurances from Sanders directly, that if elected mayor, Sanders would shut down the three gay bathhouses in San Diego.  Mr. Otis will now have to make an appointment with Sanders' new homosexual Executive Director of Communications Fred Sainz to ask the new mayor if he plans to keep that alledged promise.
